Why should I use a Bail Bondsman instead of paying the cash bond?

This question gets brought up a lot, and with Florida Bail Bonds, there are a few answers. First, when posting cash bonds, you must be present to do so. 99% of county jails do not take credit cards and you must use cash. So for instance, someone has a $3,000 bond. You must bring $3,000 in cash of your own money to give to the jail. When working with a bondman, you may only have to pay $300 (10% of the bond). This is attractive to most people because you do not have to tie up $3,000 of your money.

Another misconception of cash bonds is that after the case is disposed of, you will receive all of your money back. Well, maybe. In Florida, the courts can take any court fees, costs, or fines that have been assessed during the case or as part of the disposition. When using a bonding agency, the courts are not able to use the bond money for such fees. You will be charged the 10% premium, but that is all the fees you will have to pay. In addition, any collateral (cash or any other collateral) is returned in full. This is not a option for bail bondsman, it is Florida Law

In summary, using a bondsman is less headaches, less money, and generally a faster process. Needless to say, it is the most effect way to get someone out of jail. Call us now to get the process started, 1-877-422-4599
