Does Bail-Florida accept Payment Plans?
Yes, Bail Florida does accept payment plans in some cases. In order to qualify for a payment plan, the bond amount has to be of a substantial amount. Lower cost bail bonds would not qualify for our payment plan option.
In order for our clients to get qualified for a bail bond payment plan, we would first run a credit check. If you own property in the state of Florida, this would dramatically increase you chances for approval. Each instance is unique so each client will be assessed differently. the easiest way to be approved for our payment options is to allow us to have a credit or debit card on file. This way we can debit the account each payment period as agreed upon by our agency and you.
Bail Florida offers payment plans for up to two years depending on the case. Even if the case is disposed of, payment is still due. If collateral is given to secure the bail bond, it will not be returned until all premium bond payments are made in full. You are able to pay off the bail bond premium any time without penalty. If fact, we prefer it. Bail Bond Payments can either be agreed to on a weekly, bi-weekly, monthly, or any other predefined payment schedule. Payments can be made via credit card, Paypal, Check, or money transfer.
Is collateral for the bond amount the same a collateral for the premium due?
In most cases no. If you are requesting credit form Bail Florida for the premium due on the bail bond, you will most likely have to have collateral for the premium also. If we are debiting a credit or debit card on a payment schedule, this scenario may not apply to you. Dispensing credit to our clients is a service we are glad to provide. However, just like any other for of borrowing, such as from banks, require security to back it.
Payment plans for Bail Florida are available and we are glad to give them. Please be prepared to answer some question about you credit history and assets so that we may speed this process along. Please call our offices if you have any questions. Our trained bail bondsman will be glad to explain our Bail Bond Payment Plans to you.
